FAQ #1

Why did I receive an email from @ telling me that I am generating a virus? Is my machine infected with a virus? Are you going to shutdown my email?

This email was generated by a common virus that has propagated throughout the internet. This does NOT mean your computer has been infected. This email was generated by a virus that has infected the computer of someone else that has your email address in their address book. This is a new form of polymorphic virus that randomly selects an email address out of a users address book and sends them an email. The FROM field is "spoofed" which means it appears to come from someone it does not, in this case from someone in your domain. Please refer to the following link for more information on this virus and many others:

Beagle Virus

If you are running antivirus software on your email server, then it will capture the virus before you see it and you will only receive the text of the email. We can eliminate you from receiving these messages if you so desire by deleting the email entirely when a virus is detected. If you aren't running antivirus software on your server or are unsure if you are protected, then please contact us at so that we can insure that you are protected from virus threats.
